There will be a meet-and-greet with WNBA Tulsa Shock Head Coach/ General Manager Nolan Richardson on Friday at the Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa.
Tulsa Shock Coach’s Night will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the casino’s NINE18 Bar where attendees will also have a chance to win prize packages including tickets to this season’s final home game.
Also appearing at this event will be Volt, the Tulsa Shock mascot, and Ignition, the team’s dance squad.
Guests are welcome to bring sport team paraphernalia for Coach Richardson to autograph.
Richardson’s coaching experience includes head coach at the University of Tulsa and University of Arkansas. He led Tulsa to the 1981 NIT championship and took Arkansas to the NCAA Final Four three times, which included a 1994 National Championship win against Duke.
Prize packages up for grabs at Coach’s Night include an official WNBA basketball signed by Richardson and logoed “Game On” t-shirts while supplies last and tickets to this season’s final game against Chicago on Aug. 21. Guests can win prizes by shooting hoops on the patio at the NINE18 Bar.
