Osage Nation Congressional Hun-Kah Session begins today

The Third Osage Nation Congress is meeting for its 2013 Hun-Kah Session, regularly held each spring.

The session begins at 10 a.m. in the Osage Nation Congressional Chambers.

This is the first of two annual Congressional sessions which last 24 days apiece and may be extended up to three additional days if needed.

The regular session started March 25 and ends April 22 but could extend to April 25 if Congress votes to extend the session. Congressional committees will meet as needed throughout the session to initially consider bills, resolutions and other matters brought to the legislative branch's attention.
