Osage Nation recognized as a Certified Healthy Oklahoma Business

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has recognized the Osage Nation as a Certified Healthy Oklahoma Business.

Recognized for its “positive impact on the health of its employees,” according to a prepared release, the Osage Nation Communities of Excellence and Skiatook Head Start will accept the certification on behalf of the Nation at a luncheon at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Norman on Feb. 5.

Other factors for recognition are employee health screenings, workplace health education, opportunities for physical exercise activities, management support for healthy workplace environments, and sharing wellness activities within their respective communities.
