The Osage Nation is hosting a regional gathering of traditional corn growers, called Braiding the Sacred, November 3-5 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
This event is open to Tribal community members, across Oklahoma, who grow and preserve culturally significant varieties of corn.
The event in Pawhuska, will bring together 40 traditional corn growers from around Oklahoma, and several other states, for 3 days of talking circles, networking, traditional foods, social activities, and connecting.
Lodging will be provided at the Osage Hotel and Casino in Ponca City, meals will be provided, and limited travel support will be offered, as needed to partipants.
