Cynthia Boone announces her candidacy for the Osage Minerals Council

By Cynthia Boone

It’s time for Boone in June. Re-elect Cynthia Boone for Osage Minerals Council.

We live on my grandmother’s original allotment. My husband, Tom and I will celebrate 49 years of marriage at the end of May. He is retired and is on the Grayhorse Committee. We have 2 sons and 1 granddaughter. I received my Indian name from Margaret Shunkamolah.

I believe in the Allotment Act of 1906 and that the federal trustee should remain with the federal government.

My testimony in Washington, D.C. before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Sub-Committee on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies to request funding to assist with projects in the oil field and to help our producers obtain information electronically, resulted in an award of $3 million to the Osage Minerals Council.

Concerns of my constituents continue to be my priority without any interference from any other entity.

I have 12 years experience and am an independent thinker.

“Boone’s Bulletin”, published at my own expense is my way of keeping in touch with my constituents.

I’m #2 on the ballot. I’m asking for your vote on June 4th. If you are in the town that day stop by the campus and have lunch or dinner. I’ll be at the main arbor, look for my yellow and black campaign sign.
