Texas Osage Association reschedules spring meeting to May 2

The Texas Osage Association has rescheduled its spring meeting due to the growing concerns of the COVID-19 outbreak, otherwise known as the Coronavirus.

“I'm sorry to say that we have rescheduled our Spring Texas Osage meeting to May 2, 2020,” said Jim Ryan in an email, the association’s president. “There are just too many unknowns about the spread of the virus to hold it on March 21st. Hopefully, things will be better in May.”

The meeting will be held on May 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Azalea Room in the Holiday Inn Express Irving D/FW North, 4550 West John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, TX 75063.

The meeting will begin with coffee, doughnuts and conversation, followed by introductions and speeches by the 2020 Osage candidates running for the 7th Osage Nation Congress. Lunch from “Meat U Anywhere” Texas BBQ experts will be served at 11:30 a.m. followed by a candidate forum addressing specific topics such as Education, Healthcare, Casinos, Eldercare and the Mineral Estate.

Those interested in attending must RSVP to have lunch. Please RSVP to Jim Ryan by April 24 at, (210) 825-6747, or by message on Facebook. Watch for updates on our Texas Osage Association Facebook group.
