Betty Louise Revard Obituary

Betty Revard, Age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on March 4, 2017. She was born in Pawhuska, OK on June 7, 1927, daughter of Clarence Joseph (CJ) and Agnes Evelyn (Allen) Revard. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three daughters. She reared them as Air Force Brats, moving from state to state, as her husband was transferred often. She was a Social Worker for Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, CA after a divorce left her with her three girls to take care of. She was a proud Osage, and always demonstrated great strength through her life. She organized a team to deliver food, blankets, and necessities to the Indigenous People occupying Alcatraz in 1969. Her life was filled with family, helping people in need, with music, knitting and other hobbies.

Betty is survived by her three daughters, Nicki Lorenzo (husband Frank) of Pawhuska, Julie A. Malone of Pawhuska, and Joanne Atkerson (husband Arnie) of Santa Rosa, CA. She is also survived by her sister, Judy DeMeo of Santa Rosa, CA. and two grandsons Cory J. Lorenzo (wife Kalica) of Owasso and Blake P. Atkerson of Sacramento, CA. She will also be sorely missed by numerous nieces and nephew whom she cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to Comforting Hands Hospice, 1336 SE Washington Blvd., Suite A, Bartlesville, OK 74006, or to the charity of your choice.
