Butcher House Meats now delivering weekly to three districts and Fairfax

Drops-offs available in Grayhorse, Fairfax, Hominy and Pawhuska beginning the week of June 27

Butcher House Meats will begin offering remote drop-offs starting the week of June 27, 2022, according to an ON release. Drop-off locations will be Grayhorse, Fairfax, Hominy and Pawhuska. All orders must be placed before the delivery date, paid for over the phone and selected from the remote order list. All selections are frozen.

Pick-up days will be:

  • Tuesdays: Hominy Indian Village Community Building (parking lot) 2-3 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: Grayhorse arbor (parking lot) 2-3 p.m.
  • Thursdays: Fairfax Title Vl (parking lot) 2-3 p.m.
  • Fridays: Pawhuska Title Vl (parking lot) 2-3 p.m.

Osage Nation’s Butcher House Meats is a 19,000-square foot, state-of-the-art facility designed to address food insecurity for the Osage people. The meat processing facility is located in Hominy and was built to address the food system breakdown that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Butcher House Meats opened in 2021 and is a state- and federally inspected facility. The facility is designed and approved for cattle, bison, hogs, and seasonal deer. Hours of operation include Mondays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesdays-Fridays: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. It is located at 115 Eagle Avenue in Hominy.
