Carol ‘Diane’ Boulanger Obituary

Carol “Diane” Boulanger, 67, of Wichita, KS, passed away on April 1, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center.

Diane was born on March 1, 1953, in Pawhuska, OK. She was a graduate of Sedan High School in 1971. She was also a member of the Osage Nation.

Diane never knew a stranger and was a mom to anyone that walked into her home. You could always hear her in the stands cheering her boys on.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising three amazing sons and she wasn’t afraid to let everyone know. She was never hesitant to express how proud she was of her family, how blessed she was to have four amazing granddaughters.

An amazing craftswoman, she loved to write poetry and create sewing masterpieces. She had the most forgiving soul, the most infectious laugh, and the greatest sense of humor.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her sister, Joyce Carpenter; sons: Lucas Deal and his wife, Kendra; Kyle Deal and his wife, Kristin; Cody Deal and his fiancé, Micayla; half-sister, Terri Wade and her husband, Jason; nieces, Jacque Obaidat, Shelby Keene and Cecily Wade; nephews, Joshua Wilson and Race Wade; granddaughters: Sophie, Emerson, Lincoln, and London; and her cherished dog, Boomer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Carpenter and Dean Boulanger; daughter, Laine Deal; nephew, Brandon Wade; and her beloved dogs, Koda and Parker.
