Community computer classes available in Grayhorse

The George W. Pease III Technology Center is located in the Grayhorse Village, next to the chapel.

The George W. Pease III Technology Center in Grayhorse will host four introductory computer classes in the month of February:

  • Feb. 15: Introduction to Windows 10
  • Feb. 17: Introduction to Microsoft Word
  • Feb. 22: Introduction to Microsoft Outlook
  • Feb. 24: Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. and will last approximately 1 hour. Students can use one of the six center computers or bring their own laptop. Classes are open to everyone and do not require pre-registration. Students should check “The George W. Pease III Technology Center” Facebook page to confirm class times or email Jennifer Hensley at for more information.

The center, which opened to the public on Dec. 8, is part of a broadband project funded through a $3 million Community Connect Grant from the USDA’s Rural Utilities Service and $450,000 of Osage Nation funds. The Technology Center saw 54 visitors in December and has served 28 visitors between Jan. 1 and Jan. 19.
