Dr. Ron Shaw resigns as Osage News columnist

Osage News columnist Dr. Ron Shaw has resigned his post with the paper due to his decision to run for the Fourth Osage Nation Congress. Per Osage News policy and Shaw’s contract, no columnist for the Osage News can use his or her position with the News as political gain.

“It has been a pleasure and a privilege to contribute articles to the Osage News,” Shaw said. “I thank you for the opportunity to communicate information on health to your readers.”

Per the contract, Shaw must pay back one year’s worth of payment as columnist from the time of Election Day. The Osage News is not beholden to Osage officials or candidates.
