Grocery truck to sell food items in Fairfax

A private grocery truck is setting up shop this morning (Oct. 24) at the vacant Palace of the Osage grocery store in Fairfax from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The mobile store business owner and the Osage Nation made arrangements for hosting the truck one day this week with further visits to follow.

Raymond Lasley, executive advisor of programs for the Principal Chief’s office, said Chief Red Eagle authorized use of the Palace property and electricity for the truck’s use during its stay.

Lasley said the truck plans to deliver groceries every Wednesday to Fairfax during the same three-hour time frame.
