Joseph “Joe” K. Cheshewalla, 75, of Greeley, CO passed away March 23, 2015 at Hospice of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.

He was born May 21, 1939 to Herbert and Naomi (Kellie) Cheshewalla in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.  Joe married Bonnie Stanfield on December 24, 1982 and they were together for 36 years.

From 1973 – 2008, Joe was an over the road truck driver.  He drove for Steinbecker Brothers, Monfort Beef, DSCO and Navajo trucking.  His hobbies included leather work, beading, and finger weaving.  He made Osage belts and knee high moccasins with bead work. 

Joe is survived by his wife of 36 years, Bonnie Cheshewalla of Greeley and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Naomi Kellie Cheshewalla; step-son, Scott Walker; and six brothers and sisters.

As per Joe’s request, no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Colorado in care of Adamson Funeral and Cremation Services 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, CO  80634.
