By Myron Red Eagle

My name is Myron F. Red Eagle, and I am seeking office on the Fourth Osage Mineral Council. I have a degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. I studied at Northern Oklahoma College, Central Oklahoma University, and Oklahoma State University as well. My work experience includes 5 years at Public Service Company of Oklahoma, and 8 and one-half years at Whirlpool Corp retiring as an Administrative Quality Manager. I also served four years on the Second Osage Minerals Council where I accomplished the start of the Osage Headright Shareholder’s quarterly newsletter, a scholarship program for students majoring in the energy field, and updated oil production logs from 1916-1980 online. During the Third Osage Mineral Council I served as a volunteer on the Orphan Well Committee.

If elected into office on the Fourth Osage Mineral Council I plan to bring better communication to the shareholders by reorganizing the quarterly newsletter enhancing transparency, help educate the new shareholders on policies and processes of the Mineral Estate through community outreach, and apply new technology to the Mineral Estate with better accuracy and accessibility. I will work diligently to increase production to increase our headright income, install CNG operated vehicles with the Osage Nation with our own natural gas from the Mineral Estate, make the permitting process more accessible by the Osage Mineral Council expediting production, and work to ensure that an Osage delegation is able to share our issues in Washington, D.C.
