The Osage Nation Prevention Program’s popular outdoor movie series will be back this month with the first film showing on Friday, April 27. The first movie to start the summer series is “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Osage families from around the county travel to take part in the free family fun as the Prevention Program shows contemporary films and movie classics to the delight of children and adults alike. Healthy food and snacks are on hand and other entertainment as they show films in different communities in Osage County.
According to Prevention Program staff, they are currently finalizing the schedule and will release dates and locations for the “2018 Osage Nation Prevention Movie Under the Stars Tour.”
The first stop for the outdoor movie tour will be Pawhuska and the film starts at sundown.
It is recommended attendees bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating and arrive with plenty of time to park and get settled prior to show time.
