An Osage Congressman is hosting a town hall event on Thursday, Aug. 22 in Pawhuska ahead of the 2019 Tzi-Zho Session starting in September.

The 2019 Tzi-Zho Session begins on Sept. 3 at the Osage Nation Capitol Building on Main Street in Pawhuska and lasts for 24 days. The session’s focus will be the 2020 fiscal year budgets for the ON government operations and other filed legislative bills and resolutions.

Eli Potts is hosting “Congress on Your Corner: Pawhuska Town Hall” starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Pawhuska Community Center located at the Lynn Avenue and Main Street intersection.

According to the event agenda, there will be a discussion of “legislative successes” and “pending legislation” following the event welcome and introductions. Potts is the primary event host but has said other Congressional members can also attend and meet with attendees.

The event also features open discussion time for the interested attendees.
