Osage Impact compiles attendance record for Congressional incumbents

Osage Impact, a local grassroots organization, has compiled the attendance record of the Congressional incumbents running in the 2020 Osage Nation General Election. They are Congresswomen Shannon Edwards, Maria Whitehorn, Speaker Joe Tillman and Congressmen John Maker and RJ Walker.

The Congress reinstated its public posting of attendance records on Oct. 1, 2019. The record compiled by Osage Impact is from the period of Dec. 8, 2015, to June 17, 2019.

During that time period:

Edwards was absent 41 days and late 11 days.
Maker was absent 27 days (Maker had surgery before the 2019 Hunkah Session and missed the session) and late once.
Walker was absent 10 days and late twice.
Tillman was absent 4 days and was never late.
Whitehorn was absent 1 day and late twice.
