Osage Nation government offices are closed again today Jan. 7 due to the inclement winter weather and dangerously low morning temperatures.

The second consecutive day of office closings comes after Pawhuska Public Schools announced there will be no school today.

Candidates for Osage Nation offices of Principal Chief and Assistant Principal Chief now have until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 8 to file for candidacy with the ON Election Office in Pawhuska, according to the office’s Facebook page.

Despite the ON office closings, the Osage Nation Fitness Center has announced the Pawhuska Fitness Center will be open today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to its Facebook page.
