6) Osage ancestry: Great Grandparents are Ben Wheeler and Fannie Wheeler, Amos Hamilton and Marie Etiva Hamilton. Grandparents are Muskogee Wheeler and Mildred Wheeler. My Parents are Mary Francis Wheeler Kidder and Dennis Kidder.
Oldest of 5 boys, Gregory, Jeffery, Ben, and Joseph Kidder.
7) Education: Hominy in 1987, then continued my education at the following schools Northern Oklahoma College and then to Southwestern Oklahoma State University (Weatherford OK) and Southern Nazarene University.
8) Work Experience: Barret Refinery as Quality Control Chemists (Owner Rocky Barret and current Chief the of the Citizen Band Pottawatomie’s).
Kerr McGee on the R&D chemical working with Titanium Dioxide’s surface chemistry, process improvement and product improvement. During my time at Kerr McGee, I was able to work in a team environment, chemical engineers, chemist and people from all over the world.
Waste Management R&D converting methane gas into biodiesel off the landfill sites.
Osage Nation as Osage Gaming Commissioner from 2014 to 2019, becoming Osage Gaming Commissioner Chairman 2018 to 2019.
Resigned from Commission to go to Osage Nation in Financial Assistance, Title Employment and Training Coordinator.
9) Are you cultural? Yes, in 1974 at age of 5, I came into the Zon-Zo-Li District In-Lon-Sca, during the time of drum keeper Mike Hopper. In 1980 under Amos Shadlow Jr. Zon-Zo-Li Drum Keeper, I became water boy and have been on the Zon-Zo-Li committee for the last 40 years. I grew up surrounded by all my aunts and uncles in the Hominy Indian Village. We come from a traditional family and continue to try to maintain our Osage Culture, at all times.
