A Legacy of Progress

Under my direction we overcame the challenges of the COVID Pandemic to lead the Osage Nation forward for the benefit of the Osage people and their families.

I have made investing in our people’s culture and language a priority.

The Osage Scholarship, the Health Benefit Card, Medicare Supplement Plan F, Part D Medicare Pharmacy Supplement and Burial Assistance Programs have been fully funded.

During the past 18 months, three direct cash payments to Osages have been made for all those who applied.

We have purchased more productive land, expanding our territory, and increased our assets without borrowing any money.

We are building new senior housing in Pawhuska, Fairfax and Hominy.

A new Pawhuska Wakon Iron Chapel is under construction and a new Wakon Iron Community Center has been designed and funded.

A second hotel tower for Osage Tulsa Casino has been completed.

Two new casino hotels in Bartlesville and Pawhuska are under construction.

Osage has purchased prime real estate for our new Osage Missouri Casino at Osage Beach, Missouri.

A once-in-century expansion of our Osage Museum is underway.

Our meat processing plant, ranch, and farm are producing food for the Osage people.

New jobs have been created for the Osage people.

By listening to the voices of our children at the Daposka Ahnkodapi Immersion School and Wahzhazhe Early Learning Academy you can hear our language alive once again.

A Plan for the Future

We are moving further and faster than ever.  We have paid off all debt in the name of the Osage Nation, accessed American Rescue Plan funds, and have planned for use of federal infrastructure money for broadband internet and new water and sewer lines to the homes and businesses in our territory.  We can leverage our debt free status to create new projects which will serve us for decades to come.

A new Wahzhazhe Health Clinic will be built to provide health services to our people.  A new primary residential treatment program will be built to focus on the disease of addiction which inflict our people.

Our first Osage Nation financial institution will be a reality within the next 18 months. I have personally met with the United States Federal Reserve on the soundest and most sure way to build this institution. We will create this Community Development Financial Institution for the Osage to handle consumer loans at the lowest possible interest rates and to invest in Osage people and Osage owned businesses.

We will increase scholarships for careers in computers, cyber-security, and the skills demanded by the modern age.  Our relationship with Tinker Air Force Base has opened the possibility of full employment of qualified Osages in good paying civilian jobs.

Food security, good housing, educational support, culture education, language preservation, health, land acquisition, and opportunity for a good life as members of the proud Osage Nation are growing.

New opportunities are before us and I plan to see them through.

I seek your support for Principal Chief of the Osage Nation.
