This is to recognize and commend our former Osage Nation Ranch Board members Crum, Hainzinger and Oldfield for their excellent service to the ranch enterprise.
In turn, this is to question the short-sightedness of the Osage LLC board which removed them as leaders for ranch management.
Once again, the primary LLC has demonstrated bad faith and worse judgment. It seems they often don’t understand the sensible approaches to business operations. Surely, one need only review past performance and accounting records to confirm that these three advisors were responsible for practices and improvements that brought the ranch to profitability. Their contribution should be obvious and appreciated.
I want to be proud of everything the Nation does, but I am disappointed to hear that ranch success is being negated by LLC interference. Though he has already lost a foundation that will be hard to replace, Mr. Frank Freeman, Osage LLC board chairman, should lead the Osage LLC to reconsider the future of the ranch and how to foster its advancement as a business. That means leaving it to those who know how.
