Two Osage wrestlers place in 2023 OSSAA Wrestling Championships

Witt Edwards, a junior from Wagoner High School, placed 3rd in his weight class of 215 lbs. for 4A schools. His ending record was 18-3. Isaac Long, a senior at Skiatook High School Placed 4th in 4A at 165 lbs.

Two Osages placed in this year’s OSSAA Wrestling Championships, held Feb. 24-25 at the State Fairgrounds Arena in Oklahoma City. Witt Edwards, a junior from Wagoner High School, placed 3rd in his weight class of 215 lbs. for 4A schools. His ending record was 18-3. Isaac Long, a senior at Skiatook High School Placed 4th in 4A at 165 lbs.

Also making a showing at this year’s state wrestling championship were Pawhuska senior Marion McCartney, Barnsdall sophomore Easton Malone and Pawhuska freshman Corlin Cass.
