Kirk Shaw and Luke Revard will receive Oklahoma’s NextGen Under 30 Award for their talent, drive and community service efforts. The awards recognize the next generation of leaders and achievers across multiple industries.
Shaw serves as the Wahzhazhe Health Center’s Clinic Administrator and Revard serves as the Marketing Programming Specialist at Osage Casinos. They are two of 484 young professionals selected based by a panel of respected business and civic leaders, according to a release.
Shaw was hired by the former ON Health Authority Board in 2020 and began his career with the Osage Nation in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to working with the WZZHC, he worked at the Oklahoma City Area IHS office. He has his bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In 2022, Shaw received the “Future Five” award from the Medical Group Management Association – a group that represents more than 350,000 doctors and 60,000 medical administrators nationwide.
Revard began his career at Osage Casinos shortly after his graduation from Oklahoma State University and has served in the marketing department since 2023. In a prepared release from Osage Casinos, Revard said “I am honored to receive this award and opportunity to represent the Osage Nation. Thanks to the support of my team at Osage Casinos and my tribe, I will continue to learn new things and challenge my skills. This is just the beginning of my career, and I look forward to my next chapter as I continue to support the Osage Nation.”
Now in its thirteenth year, NextGen Under 30 recognizes and encourages the next generation of innovative, creative, and inspiring individuals who push the boundaries in various categories of endeavor across the state. The award was founded to identify and honor talented young Oklahomans and encourage them to follow their lifetime family and career goals in Oklahoma.
Shaw and Revard will be recognized at the annual NextGen Award Ceremony. This year’s celebration will take place on November 15 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman. In addition to the celebration, Shaw and Revard will have the opportunity to attend networking events at the Oklahoma State Capitol and an emerging leader’s summit.
