Wahzhazhe Health Center Pharmacy now open

Community members begin using new service as staff transitions to modern e-Prescribing system

The Wahzhazhe Health Center Pharmacy officially opened its drive-thru on May 29, 2025, at 316 E. Main St. in Pawhuska. Located at the southwest corner of the new clinic, the drive-thru is currently the only way the public can access the pharmacy until the full clinic opens in July.

The Osage News captured these moments of community members using the new drive-thru.

Pharmacy staff are currently transitioning to a new e-Prescribing system, and health officials are asking for patience as they adjust to both the new facility and new technology. The e-Prescribing system allows providers to send prescriptions electronically, which improves accuracy, speeds up service, and eliminates the need for handwritten prescriptions.

For more information, the Wahzhazhe Health Center Pharmacy can be reached at (918) 287-9300. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
