Waste of money

What a disappointment to learn the Osage Nation is going to spend $30,000 for an unnecessary plebiscite! Are we really going to vote on the rights of certain tribal members? Rights are called “rights” because they are already human rights. Are some human’s rights more equal than others? Are some tribal members more equal than others? Are we living on the Animal Farm? My marriage to my husband was finally recognized by the federal government in the Supreme Court. That’s where rights are adjudicated, not by majority vote! Why should the validity of my marriage be decided by a vote? It is already valid. The Osage Supreme Court should recognize it just as the U.S. Supreme Court already has.
